Several companies that produce the synthetic rubbers essential to tire manufacturing operate in the Uyghur Region and use state-sponsored labor transfers in their factories. Downstream of the rubber, at least two major tire manufacturing companies operate factories in the Uyghur Region, where again, state labor transfers provide the workers. These tires are sold both to car manufacturers and to aftermarket retailers, including online in the U.S. and U.K.
